Hello! I’m Vera

Winnipeg Newborn and Kids/Family Photographer

I am a mother to two gorgeous children,
and they are my constant source of everything;
inspiration, unconditional love, commitment,
childhood, support, sleep deprivation and most
importantly, my constant need to improve.

What started by chance (I specialized into
newborn photography when I had my 2nd baby),
what was meant to be, turned into a journey
that has changed my life forever; my calling
in this lifetime.

My goal is to preserve those memories; to remind
babies of how much they are adored and loved,
and to re-live the joy of childhood in the upcoming years.

Photography was a big part of my life when
I was younger and as I continued to grow,
it was one of those things that stuck
with me and just never left.

I strive to create emotional images that tell
stories of individual connections, warmth and
love. Images that pull the viewer into that
very space of time.

My aim is to provide you with authentic,
beautiful & timeless images to cherish
that will become your treasured
family heirlooms.

Like many other photographers I am self-taught! When my daughter was born I photographed her, and then started convincing my close friends to let me photograph them. From there I did many ads on classifieds for FREE photos for probably a year, I got tons of experience from doing this and that is what I think has taught me the most.

I was also part of an online weekly photography contest. I just played a LOT. I read, I tried, and I put myself out there. Eventually it just all came together. I have also learned many things from other photographers, and some of my best friends are photographers, too! It never gets old and, I can honestly say I am still learning every single day.

About My Home Studio

My home photo studio is located in Grande Pointe, Manitoba, which is 7 mins from Winnipeg on South East. The photo studio was created with care of little ones. There is everything you need for high-quality photography, as well as for the safety and comfort of the baby and parents. The room is equipped with a changing table, chairs , a mirror, heater, baby sound machine. To maintain cleanliness, hypoallergenic products with bactericidal properties are used. Wet cleaning of the studio is carried out before and after each shoot.

It’s always warm and cozy here. For filming newborn babies, the studio is heated so undressed baby will feel warm and comfortable. I have good collection of props for shooting so every baby can have beautiful accessories for shooting. When you arrive everything is already prepared for your shoot, the room is warm and clean, all the baskets and suits are ready and waiting for their little prince or princess. There are also hygiene items for baby, if suddenly you didn’t take something with you (disposable diapers, wet wipes) Come, relax, enjoy the filming process and beautiful photos for your gold memories!
