Meet the artist

I’m Vera

My journey with children has been a lifelong story. Back in my home country, I worked as a pediatrician, caring for little ones and their families during the earliest and most delicate stages of life. After moving to Winnipeg, I continued this path at the Health Sciences Centre, working with children in a hospital setting. Later, I opened my own home daycare, where I was surrounded daily by laughter, curiosity, and the pure joy only children bring.

But there has always been another love in my life — photography. It runs in my family — my father and grandfather were both passionate photographers. I grew up with the smell of film, the click of a shutter, and the magic of turning fleeting moments into timeless keepsakes.

Today, photography is not just my profession — it’s my full-time calling. I specialize in newborn, kids, family, milestones, pets, and portraits, capturing authentic emotions and connections. Each session is personal, heartfelt, and crafted with the same care and dedication I’ve carried through every chapter of my life.
